Most superfood powders are described with words like greens, antioxidants, adaptogens, berries, detox, energy, immunity, and wellness.
Those words sound impressive, but they do not tell you how much of anything is actually in the scoop.
ChocoBerry Blast™ was formulated differently.
One serving is approximately 17.5 grams, and almost the entire serving can be accounted for by gram-level whole-food ingredients, fruits, berries, herbs, amino acids, and minerals.
- 4,000 mg non-fermented organic cocoa powder (tested for heavy metals)
- 3,000 mg beet juice powder standardized to 5% nitrate
- 2,500 mg 11-berry phytonutrient blend
- 2,500 mg adaptogen + functional mushroom blend
- 2,500 mg lucuma
- 1,500 mg L-citrulline
- 1,250 mg cocoa powder with 15% flavanols
- 250 mg Ioniplex® fulvic ionic mineral complex
That is a fundamentally different nutritional story from a formula built around tiny amounts of dozens of ingredients hidden inside a large proprietary blend.
187.5 mg of Standardized Cocoa Flavanols — Before Counting the Cocoa Powder
ChocoBerry Blast™ contains 1,250 mg of cocoa with 15% flavanols.
The calculation is:
1,250 mg × 15% = 187.5 mg standardized cocoa flavanols
That number is important because it is not an estimate based on the word “cocoa.” It comes directly from the potency of the cocoa bean powder we use.
The European Food Safety Authority evaluated cocoa flavanols and concluded that 200 mg per day was sufficient to support normal endothelium-dependent vasodilation in the context of the evidence it reviewed.
View the EFSA scientific opinion on cocoa flavanols and endothelial function
The standardized cocoa extract in ChocoBerry Blast™ alone therefore supplies:
187.5 ÷ 200 = 93.75%
of that 200 mg cocoa-flavanol benchmark.
That means the standardized extract alone is only 12.5 mg below 200 mg.
And that is before counting the naturally occurring cocoa flavanols in the additional 4 grams of non-fermented cocoa powder.
Why Use Non-Fermented Organic Cocoa?
Cocoa naturally contains flavanols and other polyphenols, including catechin, epicatechin, and procyanidins.
But processing matters.
Research shows that fermentation and alkalinization processing steps can substantially reduce native cocoa polyphenols and flavanols. It can also make them less easy to digest.

That is why ChocoBerry Blast™ combines:
4 g non-fermented cocoa + 1.25 g standardized cocoa-flavanol extract.
Together, the total cocoa system weighs:
5.25 g per serving
or:
5.25 ÷ 17.5 = 30% of the entire formula.
Why? Because research shows that these amounts of flavanols, polyphenols, antioxidants, and terpenes are very health supportive in these amounts. And cocoa powder is a great ingredeint to provide.
3 g of 5% Nitrate Beet = 150 mg Natural Nitrate
ChocoBerry Blast™ also contains 3 grams of beet juice powder standardized to approximately 5% naturally occurring nitrate.
The math:
3,000 mg × 5% = ~150 mg nitrate
That equals approximately:
150 mg ÷ 62 mg/mmol = ~2.42 mmol nitrate
A millimole, or mmol, is simply the chemical unit commonly used in human dietary-nitrate research.
So ChocoBerry Blast™ supplies approximately:
- 3,000 mg high-nitrate beet juice powder
- ~150 mg naturally occurring nitrate
- ~2.42 mmol dietary nitrate
- ~50 mg nitrate per gram of beet ingredient
Dietary nitrate enters the nitrate to nitrite to nitric-oxide pathway, which has been studied extensively in relation to vascular signaling, muscle physiology, and exercise.
Review the science of dietary nitrate and exercise physiology
The 2.42 mmol nitrate in ChocoBerry Blast™ is lower than the larger standalone nitrate doses commonly investigated specifically for maximizing acute athletic performance.
That is an important distinction.
ChocoBerry Blast™ is not intended to replace PureClean Beet™ on total nitrates content alone.
Instead, nitrate is one quantified pathway inside a broader vascular and phytonutrient formula.
1,500 mg L-Citrulline — A Second Nitric-Oxide Pathway
ChocoBerry Blast™ also supplies:
1,500 mg L-citrulline per serving.
Citrulline and dietary nitrate are not the same nutrient and should not be added together into a fictional “nitric oxide milligram” number.
They enter nitric-oxide biology through different pathways.
Dietary nitrate contributes through the:
nitrate to nitrite to nitric oxide pathway
while L-citrulline can increase circulating arginine availability, supporting the:
arginine to nitric oxide synthase to nitric oxide pathway.
So ChocoBerry Blast™ now provides:
~150 mg nitrate + 1,500 mg L-citrulline
as two separate nutritional inputs related to nitric-oxide physiology.
Most standalone exercise studies of citrulline use larger doses than 1.5 g. For example, systematic reviews evaluating strength and power studies generally include doses of at least approximately 3 g, with 6–8 g citrulline-malate protocols being common.
View the systematic review of citrulline and exercise performance
What we have now done is offer a genuine gram-level L-citrulline contribution layered on top of an already quantified nitrate dose and cocoa-flavanol system.
Three Separate Vascular-Nutrition Inputs in One Formula
This is where the ChocoBerry Blast™ architecture becomes especially interesting.
One serving provides three independently identifiable nutritional systems associated with vascular physiology:
1. Dietary Nitrate
~150 mg / ~2.42 mmol natural nitrate
Supports the nitrate-nitrite-nitric-oxide pathway.
2. L-Citrulline
1,500 mg
Provides a precursor pathway for increasing arginine availability and nitric-oxide synthesis.
3. Cocoa Flavanols
187.5 mg standardized flavanols + additional native cocoa flavanols
Cocoa flavanols have been investigated in human trials for their effects on endothelial-dependent vasodilation and normal blood flow.
Review the cocoa-flavanol vascular evidence
These are different biochemical inputs.
We do not claim that simply combining them guarantees an additive physiological effect.
What can be stated objectively is that the formula delivers measurable quantities of all three.
2.5 g of an 11-Berry Phytonutrient Matrix
ChocoBerry Blast™ doesn't stop at nitric oxide, it also contains 2,500 mg of Supportive Berry Blend per serving.
The blend includes 11 fruits:
- Acai
- Acerola
- Amla
- Aronia
- Camu Camu
- Cranberry
- Goji
- Grape
- Maqui
- Pomegranate
- Sea Buckthorn
This is 2.5 grams of actual berry-derived material per serving, not merely eleven berry names appearing on a label.
The different fruits naturally contribute overlapping but distinct families of phytochemicals including:
- anthocyanins
- proanthocyanidins
- flavonols
- phenolic acids
- ellagitannins
- carotenoids
- vitamin-C-rich fruit compounds
- other berry polyphenols
Berry and anthocyanin-rich foods have been extensively investigated for vascular and endothelial effects.
A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials found that anthocyanin-rich foods and extracts significantly affected measures of vascular reactivity, although responses and doses varied among studies.

A more recent systematic review similarly evaluated polyphenol-rich berries and macro- and microvascular function.

Because the exact internal proportions of the 11 Berry Essential™ ingredients are proprietary and naturally variable, we do not assign invented milligram amounts to individual anthocyanins or individual fruits.
The defensible number is:
2,500 mg total 11-berry matrix per serving.
2.5 g Adaptogen + Functional Mushroom Matrix
Another 2,500 mg of every ChocoBerry Blast™ serving next comes from its adaptogen and functional-mushroom matrix.
The blend includes:
- Ashwagandha
- Astragalus
- Panax ginseng
- Peruvian ginseng
- Siberian ginseng
- Lion's Mane
- Cordyceps
- Reishi
That is eight named adaptogenic botanical and mushroom ingredients contained within a 2.5 g matrix.
The naturally occurring bioactive classes across these ingredients can include compounds such as:
- ginsenosides
- withanolides
- astragalosides
- mushroom beta-glucans
- ergothioneine
- reishi triterpenoids
- Cordyceps-associated nucleosides
- Lion's Mane diterpenoid-type compounds
2.5 g Lucuma — Not Just a Sweetener or Flavor
ChocoBerry Blast™ includes another boost:
2,500 mg lucuma fruit powder per serving.
That means lucuma alone accounts for approximately:
2.5 ÷ 17.5 = 14.3% of the entire formula.
Lucuma is a whole-fruit ingredient containing naturally occurring carbohydrate, fiber, carotenoids, phenolic compounds, and minerals. It's a superfood in disguise, and everyone should know it.
At 2.5 grams, it is not present merely as a flavoring note. It is placed there to improve your energy and nutrition while offering improved, great taste.
250 mg Ioniplex® Fulvic Ionic Mineral Complex
Wait, yes, there is more. Each serving also contains:
250 mg Ioniplex® fulvic ionic mineral complex.
Ioniplex® is a naturally derived fulvic mineral material containing a broad spectrum of ionic trace minerals.
The manufacturer describes the material as containing more than 65 naturally occurring ionic and trace minerals.
Learn more about Ioniplex® fulvic ionic minerals
The 250 mg quantity refers to the total Ioniplex® ingredient, not 250 mg of any single mineral.
Individual mineral amounts are naturally much smaller and vary with the source material.
Nearly the Entire Scoop Can Be Accounted for by Function
Another useful way to understand ChocoBerry Blast™ is to group the 17.5 g serving by nutritional system.
Cocoa + Flavanol System
4.0 g cocoa + 1.25 g cocoa flavanol extract = 5.25 g
5.25 ÷ 17.5 = 30% of the entire formula
Including at least:
187.5 mg standardized cocoa flavanols
plus the naturally occurring flavanols and polyphenols in the non-fermented cocoa.
Nitrate + Citrulline System
3.0 g beet + 1.5 g L-citrulline = 4.5 g
4.5 ÷ 17.5 = 25.7% of the formula
Providing:
~150 mg natural nitrate (~2.42 mmol) + 1,500 mg L-citrulline
Berry + Adaptogen + Lucuma Matrix
2.5 g + 2.5 g + 2.5 g = 7.5 g
7.5 ÷ 17.5 = 42.9% of the entire formula
That means nearly 43% of every scoop consists of the berry, adaptogen/mushroom, and lucuma whole-food matrices.
Fulvic Ionic Mineral System
250 mg = ~1.4% of the formula
Adding those systems together:
30.0% cocoa/flavanol + 25.7% nitrate/citrulline + 42.9% berry/adaptogen/lucuma + 1.4% ionic mineral matrix = 100% of the 17.5 g formula.
Why ChocoBerry Blast™ Is Not Just Another Greens Powder?
Traditional greens powders, like AG1, often compete by listing as many ingredients as possible.
That makes the label look impressive and a relief for your routine, but it can make it difficult to determine whether individual ingredients are present in meaningful quantities, or if they are even worth paying for.
ChocoBerry Blast™ takes very different identity in the market:
187.5 mg standardized cocoa flavanols + ~150 mg natural nitrate + 1,500 mg L-citrulline + 2.5 g 11-berry matrix + 2.5 g adaptogen/mushroom matrix + 2.5 g lucuma + 250 mg fulvic ionic minerals in one 17.5 g serving.
