Cut back on calories and build muscles with FUNDAMINOS amino acids
A new review on FUNDAMINOS that might interest you, especially if you are sitting on the fence...and want to discover the best way to lose weight, gain more lean muscle, preserve strength, and/or have more energy. The upshot: Our amino acids help you cut down on calories and still meet your daily protein requirement. And less calories helps you lose weight and more protein in your diet (that contains only 4 calories per serving) keeps you losing weight (protein also burns fat and blunts appetite).
Thanks for pushing me to re-order this product.
The taste is MUCH better.
It's now the time of year when I need to get rid of the results of extra fruit and larger sweet potatoes over the winter. That means a smallish calorie deficit that is easy to implement.
FundAminos will allow me to cut out about 300 calories per day of protein powder on training days, which means the number of calories in a pound of fat roughly every two weeks. If I also cut back on fruit, eat smaller sweet potatoes, and have slightly smaller portions all-round, I will meet my goals.
I'll also cut back on:
Avocadoes. I normally put half of one into two meals during meal prep. Easy enough to halve that.
Eggs. Instead of a two 3 egg omelets each day, I'll substitute a 2 egg omelet a few times a week.
Butter. I add chunks to my "cookie" batter, using fewer of these is easy enough. The cookies contain no wheat, corn, soy, or processed sugar. Basically oat and bean flour with spices, fruit, coconut oil, butter, and water added. I'm not going butter-free with my omelets, though.
Fats have twice the energy per unit as carbs, which is why (after cutting back on fruit) I cut back on fats.
Cut back doesn't mean eliminate. And being half Italian, I can't cut back on olive oil. I think some of my relatives actually get a transfusion of the stuff....
Best,
M. L.
