Yes. Apple Cider Vinegar can. Vinegar, mixed into a salad dressing or even taken as a shot by itself, helps to blunt glucose rushes. If you're planning a high carb meal and don’t want the metabolic imbalance, take a shot of apple cider vinegar right before you eat, or try eating a salad with a vinaigrette first!

False. There seems to be a benefit on muscle glycogen content from co-ingesting creatine and carbohydrates.

Do people living or training at altitude typically have higher baseline glucose levels?
No.
If you're at altitude, you most likely have lower levels of baseline glucose. You may see an initial rise in glucose levels when traveling to altitude, but these should normalize with time.

Does the order in which you eat macronutrients (meat before potatoes or potatoes before meat) impact your glucose response?
Yes.
Eating fiber, fat, and protein before carbohydrates limits your glucose rushes. Try changing up the order of your meat, vegetables, and starches and see the difference it makes on your glucose response.
